Super easy to install. Makes Jeep look really sharp and adds to the finish/look of the topless Jeep.I bought the LJ or JK version that is longer for my TJ and then cut it down with a small hack saw. Plastic cuts and drills easy.Used hard top bolts to keep it in place, I don’t trust the 3M tape based on others having them fly off.

I ordered the Bed rail protector from CSE Off Road. The delivery was really quick and the product was as advertised. I installed the rail protectors and they add siginificant eye appeal to the Jeep when the top is off. I did experience a minor problem with the product but it was quickly resolved with the help of CSE Off Road and Rugged Ridge.I like the product, it does exactly what the claims say they will do and they add a nice finished touch to the Jeep. I highly recommend them to anyone who owns a jeep.WEBBILL

The point of this product is to run with the top off and give a clean finish to the visible tub rail. It does all that up until the two sided tape fails and it blows off at highway speed. I bought a replacement because it really does finish off the tub rail nicely but don't trust the tape. I will install the replacements with black allen head sheet metal screws. $60 lesson learned. I have lowered my rating from five stars to three.I followed the advice of other reviews and bought the trim piece for the Wrangelr Unlimited and cut it to fit my standard length Wrangler. The result was a very clean install. I laid the trim piece over the tub rail and marked it with a Sharpie and straight edge about an 8th of an inch longer than looked to be the correct length. I scored the trim deeply with a triangle shaped file and snapped the excess off by slowly bending the trim piece at the score. I then checked the fit and filed the bit of excess off with the file. The finish came out excellent and by filing the excess off at a slight taper I got it to exactly the right length and finish. I wiped the top of the tub rail with mineral spirits installed the trim with the provided tape and weighted it down overnight (probabluy overkill). I'm very pleased with the end result. Total install took about 30-40 minutes and I was being very meticulous.

I bought these for my 1997 Wrangler and cut them down to size. Their fit is pretty good, but the manufacturer needs to outfit them with more double sided tape. The gaps in the tape keep them from fitting better. As is, there's a slight space between them and the rail. This is remedied by applying your own tape, but should you have to on a new product?

I had serious problems with Baseline 4x4 0n a part that did not fit. the Rugged Ridge 11650.40 Tub Rail. It is to short and they conned me out of a part I returned. That is another story though. So I went and ordered this Tub Rail through Amazon sold by Amazon.I like it a lot it fits to the edge of the tub by the door jam. Get the longer version and trim it down. Very Easy. I went and screwed mine down with self tapping screws so I could remove it easily when I put my hard top back on. It cleans up the Tub Rail nicely.I am happy with the results from the correct part.
