These are excellent! Long lasting sharpness and absolutely ideal for snipping any TPU strings or artifacts from prints! - I like that they’re comfortable to hold (and keep held LOL!) so that it’s easier to keep the correct angle for cuts - Not flush cuts, BUT for TPU, it’s hard to tell where! (the photo shows a “finished” piece after being snipped!) - For resin supports, flush cuts can often lead to pockets from cutting too deep (or even from tension pulling on the posts) so these will get you close enough to barely have any studs lefts but not necessarily enough to damage the print! (final finishing with resin prints is still best left to exacto blades in my experience) - Definite win in my book! 10/10 would get again!

As of the date I ordered these nippers, the price was $37.99. At that price, they should be a premium quality tool.Are they better than cheap, bargain basement price nippers? Absolutely. It is far nicer steel, and they are able to help clean up 3D prints. I even had reasonably good success cleaning up TPU prints.But, are they perfect? No, not by any means. They are good, but not perfect; the two blades are not ground to be perfectly aligned with each other. They're better than most, but because they are not perfectly aligned, you cannot get a perfectly flush cut. Given the premium price tag, I expected better performance in this regard.For general cleanup of 3D printed supports, and possibly cutting off stringing from a 3D print, these will certainly get the job done better than most other cutters, it's just unfortunate they can't do better at cutting things off perfectly flush.

Great nippers for trimming supports off resin 3D Prints! They don’t do very well at cutting plastic sprues for model kits, but are outstanding for the hard work on resin!

Really nice cutters. Made quick works of my printing supports in tight places where you can’t effectively remove them like you would normal supports. They are nice and pointy too so they can really get in there and get into to much smaller places than my other nippers. They seem like they will last a good while so I’m really glad that I got these!

Here's the main point.... a pair of wire cutters, is that, a pair of wire cutters. This is cutting plastic, not copper, aluminum, and other metals.....You can buy a pair of side cutters for a fraction of this price, and it will do the same thing!Putting the value as it relates to price aside, (which is important when reviewing an item), I will say this is a very nice pair of cutters. They fit in the hand NICELY. The blades are plenty sharp enough for PLA, PETG, AMS, no worries.The blade has a nice angle to it which a human can do just by turning their hand a little, but with these it happens more naturally. Overall, I expect these will last a good long time (especially since we are only cutting plastic).... so I like it, and 4 stars is a perfect number for the price vs value vs quality!

I'm quite pleased with these nippers (snips, cutters). They have smooth action and quality construction. The cutting edges are nice and sharp (careful! they could cut skin if you're not careful) and they come together with precision to make nice clean cuts.When snipping off small parts or extrusions or support pieces from 3D printing projects, they actually cut so cleanly that the small pieces "pop" off and go flying in random directions. Other snips I've used had a "chewing" action and the small pieces were pulled off or twisted off. With these, it will make quick work and you'll need to make sure that the small bits are aimed away from your face (or wear safety goggles).I'm very pleased and I think you will be too. This is a welcome addition to my 3D printer toolkit and accessories.

I have a few pairs of cheap nippers that have come with 3d printers and other kits, but only one good pair I got for making clean cuts for model kits. These are similar to the good pair I paid more for in quality, but a little bit bigger. The handles are coated with a nice rubbery material that is comfortable and it opens and closes smoothly. The nippers are well ground and is symmetrical not slightly off like a lot of the ones I've had.Not sure what country they are made in, but they are made well as far as I can tell.
