Replacement motor fits perfectly to existing base ,15-minute replacement job. Longest part of install was waiting for the liquid electrical tape to dry.

What a great product! Replacing my livewell pump that had gone bad was so easy! If the pump doesn't work after you install the new one, make sure to check fuses or circuit breakers! I wasted 2 hours checking for corroded wires before I noticed that the circuit breaker was actually tripped!

This is my 3rd one--- works great for a while and then less and less flow--- found out that the cheap plastic impeller that pumps the water just wears away and it spins with no flow

This is the last Rule replacement cartridge that I'm going to buy if they don't start making a stainless impeller shaft. The one in the picture lasted five months and rusted through. Does Rule never intend these pumps to be used saltwater? If you don't mind replacing cartridges twice a year then these are for you. My boat doesn't stay in the water and I backflush my bait aerator system after I fish. Come on Rule! Spend a few pennies and use a stainless impeller shaft.
