Nice bearing buddies. They appear to be well made and are pretty heavy. I take that to mean there's enough metal in them to hold firm and do their job. I try to keep these on-hand because you never know when you'll throw one and need a quick replacement. The rubber/silicone covers fit nice and tight and are unlikely to come off going down the road.

these went in easy for me. The leading edge is chamfered enough that its easy to line up and get started. To get the old one off I tapped it side to side with a 3 lb hammer. To put these in, I started it by hand then put a 2x4 over it and tapped it with the hammer. The 2x4 makes it a lot easier to drive in straight, and it prevents damage from the hammer. These are intended to use greaes to keep a little positive pressure so axles on a boat trailer don't suck water in past the bearing seal.I got these for a 2 axle utility trailer. They won't be submerged, I'm wanting a way to add grease without fully disassembling. I understand these don't do a good greasing the inner bearing. If you try to force that much grease in it will blow out the seal. But they'll at least get some grease in there. And if you use them for their intended purpose, of course they'll do fine.
