I have has this rifle sling on my Mosin for years, lots of range trips, camping trips, even taken it mule deer hunting in the Montana mountains, holds up great.

It's not an original sling, but it's a really good quality. The webbing is good and stitching is quite accurate. The 1943 production stamping is a nice touch!

A perfect fit for a carbine (M38 or 44) it’s just a little bit shorter than the original rifle sling so you can winch it up and take the slack out so it’s not hanging and flopping around d when you don’t want it too. The straps and buckles are near perfect reproductions… or maybe just a little better. - I would definitely recommend this strap.

It is infact dated 1943...in crisp new centered letters. It also came in a bag labled made in india with shinny metal pins and a black leather patch with even stiching. if its a original 1943 ill be absolutley shocked but im not a historian i can never be 100% sure. But its the right size and still functions perfectly so i cant complain to much. Was just hoping to match a sling to my dated rifle.
