My husband was not a fancy man. He would not have been pleased with a shiny metallic or ceramic urn. This urn was exactly what he would have made for himself had he been able to do so. I think he's going to rest in peace.

I felt compelled to write this review as it is an item with few reviews and it is understandable as to why. Although I am still grieving as I write this, I hope that it helps someone to feel confident in buying this product. It is a very good quality wood, very sturdy & well crafted, and I would definitely recommend it.

This is lovely. My dad was a woodworker, and this is a fitting tribute to that. The urn is sturdy, high quality, and rustic.
