The unit is built very nicely… very sturdy. The issue lies with how you mount it. The screw holes used for mounting it are on the inside of what would be the bay. I’m not sure exactly what mounting method they have in mind and they don’t provide appropriate instructions or brackets. WARNING! Verify that you can mount it on your rig before you buy or make the cut.

So, initial thoughts were that the wall vent thickness was surprisingly robust. Felt well made (for a plastic vent cover) and included some metal bug screens.I spent quite a while cutting the fiberglass exterior to fit the vent frame and got it looking very nice...then I put on some sealant and screwed it into place. Well, the screws pulled the frame out of shape and made the center insert too tight to fit in. I had to spend another hour adjusting things to get it to fit. Not entirely the fault of the vent cover, it's my fault, but even hand tight, the screws shouldnt deform the frame.The only real issues I have on this vent cover are that the black plastic inserts are difficult to work with and break if you press them slightly askew. So I had to use sealant to hold the cover in place since both clips broke at the slightest touch. Second issue is that with the metal screens installed, it blocks so much air flow that the AC doesnt work very well at all. I had to remove those screens and it's slightly better. I dont know how to improve air flow anymore other than taking the cover off.

This product was well made and high quality. It comes in at least two sizes and was to small for my rv. But was a well made piece. Highly recommend but measure your opening and order accordingly.

It fit the refrigerator vent opening to a tee. No resizing the hole at all on my 2014 Navion G. I did have to drill new holes for the new sleeve but that was no problem.

When I installed this one of the tabs to hold it on broke immediately, so then the panel fell off while I was driving. Customer service didn’t respond when I first reached out and then made the process very complicated. They told me I waited too long so couldn’t give me a replacement or a refund.
