Maybe not the easiest to install. Having to climb onto the top of my travel trailer, remove the cover, and install the wiring was a little challenging. However, it works, and I'm glad I did the install. Our a/c runs great on just a standard 110 volt 15 amp service plug.All in all this is a good unit and allows us to have a/c even when 30 amp service isn't available. Well worth a full 5 stars!

This soft start device looks well made and includes all the connections you need to hook up to your RV AC unit. It's one solid unit and the wiring pigtails are 2.5 to 3 ft. long. This should be long enough for the most applications. The soft start came with no instructions, other than a small wiring diagram attached to the face of the unit. You have to scan the barcode on the homepage to get more detailed instructions for the type of AC unit you have. The instructions are detailed enough. An included video would have been helpful. There are some good instructional videos on YT to help you get it done. This install will let us be able to run the AC on a 20 amp breaker at home or moochdocking.
