This shade instantly upgraded our RV door situation. It blacks out the window completely and gives that extra privacy we wanted without dealing with janky blinds or wrestling with Velcro strips. The magnets are strong enough to keep it in place even when we’re opening and closing the door constantly.Fit was great over our Lippert window and installation was about as easy as it gets—just line it up and let the magnets do the work. The material feels durable, blocks light well, and adds a surprising amount of heat protection too.Now we’re not living in a fishbowl, and our toddler isn’t waking up at sunrise thanks to light flooding through the door window. Small fix, big improvement.

I was hoping that this was simply one that just used magnets to attach on the door since it saying magnetic and no tools required. However it says something about removing tabs in the window which mine doesn’t have so this window shade is basically useless for what I needed it for. The only reason for the second star is because it does at least seem to be well made.

Out RV ccame ready for a shade, but one was not include. We've been meaning to add the shade and this was the perfect opportunity. The shade is easy to install. The aluminum top and bottom rails are rigid to keep from warping with use. There is a spring below the bottom bar that tensions the shade.Once installed and operates smoothly and totally blocks all light from coming through. There is a magnet that holds the shade in the fully closed position. Overall this is a good product.
