This worked perfect for replacing my RV vent. The sealant flowed out smooth and covered the edges and screws. After 24 hrs it leveled out but stayed thick, I have had stuff that was too runny and became to thin. Not this sealant.

I used this to seal the seams between some corrugated metal roofing panels that I installed. It was indeed non-leveling even though the tube said self leveling on it. I was a little worried at first but decided to use it anyway and to my delight it behaved as non-leveling silicone. It formed a nice bead and cured nicely without shrinking. I took one star off because of the confusing labeling, but it was still some decent silicone.

Ugh. I had this ready to go, in the nice frosted zip-lock bag it came in, for a vertical wiring project I'd been planning for weeks, but at the last minute I discovered this was "self-leveling" not "non-leveling" as the listing portrays in both the description and the photos. I did not trust this tube to build up properly in my electrical box, so I had to go to the orange big box for a tube of thick 100% silicone. I see other buyers have received the same, and I have no idea why the sellers are not advertising this properly -- but it seems to be a conscious decision. Before ordering this, I read a review (that has now been removed, deleted, or edited) that made a big point of saying this was self-leveling caulk, but I assumed the reviewer was referring to a variant, since this listing so clearly stated I was ordering non-leveling caulk. Now I understand the reviewer was warning about the seller's false description. I just wish s/he had been more blunt about it. Anyway, it was all quite annoying, but I rate this product with one extra star assuming it's okay for the right job, and I'll hold onto it for a future application. Please, sellers, ensure that your listings are accurate!

Works great! Strong caulk and easy to use with a caulk gun. Came with a set of gloves too. Doesn’t come with the gun though so I had to buy one because it’s unusable without it. Nice bright white color and seems waterproof.

This seems like good caulk for sealing roof leaks but since I only used it recently, I won't know for a year or two how it stands up to the test of time and compares to previous products I've used. It applies easily though with a good caulk gun and cures quickly.

This is sealant for your RV roof. It is the self-leveling kind, so it can only be used on horizontal surfaces as it will spread out. See pics for picture of back of tube, which has all the directions. Tube came with a pair of thin nitril gloves and a delivery tube, which is already cut for the proper flow rate. The tube says it is specifically formulated to bond with EPDM and TPO roof material, which normal silicone sealant will not. You can't just use big box store caulk!Per the manufacturer, the shelf life of this sealant is one year. My tube was dated and was about 8 weeks old when I received it. so about 20% into the shelf life. Acceptable, but be aware that this stuff does not last indefinitely. This shorter shelf life is why I deducted a star on my rating. For proper installation, it all comes down to the right prep. Make sure to:- Clean off all old sealant. Use a plastic scraper and get all off. Be VERY careful if using any metal as you may cause damage to roof membrane. Do not get lazy and think it's fine to just add another layer over old sealant. You can't get the old sealant clean enough to make sure you get a good bond.- Inspect for damage and repair if needed.- Clean the roof using mild soap and brush. Do NOT use any petroleum based products (like WD40) as they will cause deterioration of the membrane.- Use a clean cloth with acetone or denatured alcohol to do a final wipe of the area.- Let dry completely before applying sealantWhen you are sealing, it is best to make a thin line as a dam around the whole area (at least 3/4-1" wider than the bracket, screw head, etc.). Then, go back and fill in the area until it is completely full. The thin dam is to try to limit the overall spread and control the pool. Plus, it lets you outline the area before you cover the bracket, etc., so it is easier to tell when you are done (and not waste too much material, or not get far enough coverage). If you are doing a large area, work in sections to make sure you have nice clean areas to apply and reclean as necessary.I used this tube around some solar panel brackets (along with two other brands), so I will report back once they have had a chance to weather a while and see if this performs as good as the name brands.

So I have some work to do on my camper van but I wanted to test the lap sealants before use so I don’t have to spend a bunch of time removing something that didn’t work.I tested this next to the leveling sealant I had to see the difference since I have both vertical surfaces and horizontal. This sealant performs like I expect. It firmed up in 24 hours and didn’t run or droop on vertical test surface (galvanized steel). It adheres well and seems like it still has enough flexibility for the movement it will encounter. The self leveling sealant (a different brand) however remains pliable and does not seem to turn up. I’m not sure if this is good or not since I’ve never done this before. I may try this brands self leveling sealant and see if it firms up.This is what I expected and feels more like what I’m replacing. Great product for a good price. Will update if I have trouble or it doesn’t hold up.

Twice the wrong product was sent. The description and product image is clearly NON-LEVELING, but what was sent twice was SELF-LEVELING. Self leveling is desirable on a roof, but a vertical bead must be non-leveling also labeled as no-sag.
