Overall this is a nice product, it has some pros and cons.Pros:The installation is quite easy, although navigating the software was not intuitive at first. Once it is set up it shows tire pressure and temperature continually. The display is intuitive and clear. You can set a high and low pressure limit and a high temperature tire limit to sound an alarm. A huge plus is there is no need to wire anythingCons:The unit feels cheap, especially the tactile feel of the buttons. That said, it looks okay on the dash board, so If you don't need to touch it you will not notice the cheap feel. Changing the units was not intuitive, primarily because the unit has a "Tire exchange" feature. Even after successfully installing and using the unit, I don't what this tire exchange feature is supposed to do. When you are trying to set up the unit, the choices for tire exchange confuse the process. I think if this feature had been omitted the set up process would be less prone to confusion. When I first installed the unit, it would not connect to the tire devices. I left the car for about an hour and when I came back it had connected and was displaying the tire pressures and temperatures. The instructions are fair, not great, they don't mention anything about waiting some time for the unit to connect. I wish it had a screen brightness adjustment, but not a big deal. There is one thing I did not realize until I installed the tire devices. Normally, the valves in the tire automatically shut off if you are not depressing them with something like a pressure gauge. The key is that it is the internal pressure of the tire that is keeping the valve closed and making an air-tight seal. When the dust caps are replaced with these devices (which look like big dust caps), the devices are constantly keeping the valve open. This is necessary for the devices to read the tire pressure. The issue is that now you are relying on the tire devices to be securely screwed on to make a good seal, not the tire internal tire pressure. If a device loosens, it could induce a leak, since it continuously keeps the valve open. To mitigate the tire devices coming loose, the units come with a thin nut that is tightened against the tire device. This should keep the tire devices from working themselves loose. My concern is that the valve stems undergo a LOT of vibration, not to mention thermal stresses from expansion and contraction. I don't know how effective this seal will be over time. These devices could leave you stranded if more than one leaks and you wind up with 2 or more flat tires. I would not use this device unless you have the means to pump your tires at home (i.e. a compressor). If you install these incorrectly or somehow a tire device leaks, you may find yourself with several flat tires at once. Hopefully the design is effective enough that the seals are maintained through the seasons and shock and vibration of regular driving, I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the seal over time at this time.

I got this for my boat trailer and the signal reaches the tires. It started to read the tire pressures within a minute of turning it on. The readings are accurate, I verified the pressures before installing them and after driving a while when the pressure increased due to the heat. I fully charged the unit when I first got it and have not needed to charge it since, it seems like the solar charging keeps it charged. I installed 3 of the sensors on my 20 ft Sea-Doo Utopia boat trailer and it read the pressures from that distance. It's not the easiest to set up the alarms but the instructions are actually helpful. The only issue is that when it looses connection it shows the last read pressure. I unhooked the boat trailer and when I drove away there was no warning that it wasn't reading the pressure, the pressure just stayed the same. I left the boat trailer at the cabin and drove 3 hours home and it still had the last reading. This would be an issue if the battery dies or if one of the sensor falls off, there should be a warning so you know that it's not reading the pressure. It comes with a usb cord but it's very short but after the initial charge I haven't needed to use it. The unit is small and lightweight and easy to read.

I got this TPMS because I was tired of the tire pressure light popping up on my dash with no clue which tire was the problem. This system solves that completely. Now I can see the exact pressure and temperature for all four tires at a glance, and it updates in real time.Installation was easy, the sensors paired right away, and the screen is clear and easy to read. I keep it mounted where it catches some sunlight, but it’s nice to have the USB option too. So far it’s been reliable, and the alerts give me peace of mind when driving longer distances. Totally worth it just to stop the guessing game.

This is actually really sweet for an older car that doesn’t have tire pressure sensors. You just put these little back stops on the valve and then screw the units on top of it like a tire cap. You have to drive it around for about five minutes in order for it to synchronize. One big thing is that the instructions say that the power button is the right button. It is the left button. Once you realize that you’ll be good to go. It does have a great little alarm that beeps, if you lose pressure on one of your tires, which I tested. And I highly recommend this product for any car that doesn’t have tire pressure sensors already built in.

I have an older vehicle that has TPMS tire sensor but it does not have individual tire monitors to tell you the pressure of each tire so I thought this might be the next best thing. Unfortunately I only got 3 lock nuts and I don’t want to have the monitors on three tires and not all four.I did try these sensors on my other 3 tires and it did transmit a value although it was not accurate, it was close but it read 32 psi but when the tire store checked my tires they said they were at 35 psi.. As a side note, the monitor does not turn on until the sensor caps are installed so you will not be able to turn it on or test it without the caps being installed on the tires. So at least the monitor does seem to function properly and the values were not far off, unfortunately I still have a missing lock nuts, I wrote to the Customer Service several times and even heard back from them within 24 hrs which was surprising in itself despite sending 3 request they never resolved the issue which actually shouldn’t be that hard, just slip an extra lock nut in an envelope and send it off. The last response was she had to confer with the supervisor so at that point I figured out I probably won't see a replacement making this sensor set useless, hence the 3 star rating.I was really hoping this sensor set would work out because I have an 18 hour drive next week but it doesn’t look like I will be able to use it. To conclude, quick response from customer service but they don’t resolve the problem.
