Installation Steps

  1. Turn off the water supply.
  2. Open the flush ball by pressing the flush pedal.
  3. Remove the old seal by grasping it from underneath and pulling it out.
  4. Clean the rim and bowl area where the old gasket was seated.
  5. Release the flush pedal to close the flush ball.
  6. Clean the flush ball thoroughly.
  7. Install the new seal with the flush ball closed. Press outward to ensure it is firmly in place.
  8. Lubricate the gasket where it contacts the flush ball, with the flush ball reopened.
  9. Open and close the flush ball a few times, then press down on the gasket to confirm it is properly positioned.
  10. Turn the water supply back on, add water to the bowl, and check for leaks.

It does what it is supposed to do. My old seal was letting the water drain instead of keeping some in the bowl. This fixed that issue and was a good fit. Install is going to be the same no matter which kind you get, you just have to take your time and get the seal on.No need to remove anything special to replace. Just pull off the old seal, be careful to not drop this in the tank as you'll need to depress the flush valve to give yourself room to install. I'm good to go now.
