Lord, where was this tool in 1990? Every fall winterizing the RV and fighting with the water heater drain. It was so easy. Better than sliced bread or Velcro.Thank you for a great tool!

I bought this to replace the plug in my RV water tank, but couldn’t get to it because of all the hoses in the way. I didn’t have time to disconnect them to get to it. I’m just writing this review to let potential buyers to check if you can use it before buying. Will update the review if I ever get to use it.

They fit great but I’ve switched out two in 3 months because they are cheaply made from the original OEM

just buy the plugs without the wrench as it is difficult to use, has to be on the plug perfectly and continues to slip off

For better than a decade now I've been awkwardly using vise grips of a crescent wrench to get my drain plug out. It's not pretty and ends up beating up the drain plug pretty good. This little offset wrench is so simple but so nice and makes it so easy to get the plug out. Bonus that they include some new plugs and teflon tape (yes, you need to use it or it will slowly leak when it heats up and builds pressure).

I was winterizing my camper for the cold months coming and I always drain the hot water tank and reinse it out. The nyulon plug I have, has been in service for over 6 years now. This kit gives you four new plugs, some thread tape and a wrench to tighten and remove the plug. I now keep this in my spare parts bucket to have it available during the camping season. The plugs are some type of nylon but seal up nicely in the tank.
