Summary:I chose this product to make cleaning my sewer hose easier. I love the cap! I was very doubtful when it arrived, but I did test on my water hose and there is no doubt this will be a great addition to my dirty jobs toolbox! The hose is a well-made braided hose. Do NOT use the hose for drinking water because it does have an odor. In addition, it is made from poly vinyl chloride, which means the plasticizer in this hose WILL leech into the water. In other words, ONLY use this hose for the sewer pipe cleaning or other outdoor uses. I highly recommend this product!Pros:- Works as expected- Great conceptCons:- So far there are no negatives / cons.TIPS and TRICKS:- Do NOT use the hose for drinking water!!

It’s an RV sewer hose rinse cap—works as expected and helps keep things clean. Solid construction, no issues. Not much else to say, but it does the job!

The water hose seems to be good—but short.I wish there were some instructions-i finally figured out how to use the adapter for rinsing your black tank hose, but it took me some practice—and YouTube videos…The adapter doesn’t seem to be as heavy duty, but for the price, it works fine.

When we were in our RV I used to rinse the sewer hose with the water hose and my finger. Then I saw the RVGUARD sewer hose rinse cap. This is a great thing to have. The cap is made of sturdy plastic that is made to fit the standard RV sewer hose. Its simple to use, just connect to the sewer hose and to a water hose and turn on the fresh water valve to flush the sewer hose. The hose water comes out of a 6 way jet and it cleans better then just using the hose and your finger to spray. It a great addition to our RV equipment.

After getting sprayed once too many times when I finished up my black water dumping task I decided that this little tool should help me out. I kept getting sprayed because the dump station seldom has any flow control on the water supply hose I use to fluse the black water system. I then use this same hose to spray the sewer hose one last time before I put it back into storage. I only have two hands so eventually something slips and I get sprayed.The rinse cap arrived in good shape. It is made of thick enough material to make it very durable. It also has a valve on the line to help keep the flow under control. At the end of my black water dump I turn off the flush hose. During the grey water dump I put the rinse cap on the flush hose. At the end of the grey water dump I attach the rinse cap to the sewer hose and start the flush water flow. I can then compress the sewer hose for storage then shut off the rinse water and I am done. No spray in the face. More importantly, the sewer hose is a lot less stinky.This rinse cap makes the job so much less messy. Overall, this rinse cap met my expectations. I was hoping to use it for dumping from a macerator but the spray restriction inside the rinse cap make that impossible. This cap is only for water. This price is very reasonable for the value.

I'm a big fan of this RV sewer hose cleaner / rinser. I try to be as meticulous as possible with my camper's sewer hose to keep things clean and to avoid any smells or contamination. This kit is great because I now have a dedicated hose for the "dirty' side, and the cap is a great idea to seal things off and force clean water through the hose after disconnecting it from my tanks. This kit id very functional and it works great. It seems to be well made and durable, and I expect that it'll last me for quite a while. It's become part of my routine when breaking down camp and disconnecting my travel trailer, and I feel better knowing that I'm getting my sewer hose as clean as possible.I think it's a good value for the money - I'd buy it again.Recommended.

What a great tool!. Attaches right to the discharge port on the camper, turn on the hole and flush water back into the discharge tube and clean / sanitize that tube.Works great. fit great, no hassles.Excellent value for the money and overall durability / build of the product.High Recommend!!
