I opened up the roll and unfortunately was too excited to get started..so thats partly my fault. After getting the rear window done I looked for the backseat window tints and they were not included. I would have returned this kit had I not already started on the project.The youtube videos and rear window install were very simple but pretty frustrated that I couldnt complete the full job. Coundt even do the front windows because then it would look off. Make sure you get everything as advertised before you start the project.

This tint is very thin so be careful when you pull it apart. I suggest that you have some help available. Also, do it in cool covered area to change it increase you working time. The cuts are very accurate so this about the easier way to tint your windows. Be gentle and prepared.

Arrived quickly, fit great. I would trim the backing before separating it if I did it again, would make handling it a bit easier.

It has been about a month since we installed the tints. There hasn't been any discoloration of the tints as far as we can tell (they have NOT turned purple) and air bubbles have been at a minimum.The instructions were well-written and straightforward. They could have used a little more detail in explaining the soap solution, such as recommendations of which brand to use, or in which ratio to mix baby shampoo and water. It would also have been nice if the online instructions included links to a video demonstrating proper installation of the tints. As such, we dug through the internet on our own and went through many moments of anxiety and self-doubt at the many comments discouraging users from installing the tints. We were seriously considering returning the tint kit and leaving the tinting to a professional.Thankfully, the whole family got involved in the process and that must have helped us get the job done right. Between the three of us, we had six hands so I think that really helped. We used Gila Tint Application solution for the soap solution and sprayed it liberally everywhere (on our hands, fingers, on the tint, on the glass). One person held down one end, a second held the other end, and the third person scraped the air out from between the tint and the window. Despite our best efforts, we have several irreparable air bubbles and one creasing of the tint but they are barely noticeable.We all consider the tint kit a great deal compared to the couple hundred dollars we would have ended up spending had we gone to a professional. Make sure to watch a video on how to install a tint. It helps to be humbled/intimidated by what a pro looks like when they install the tint. One star off because the tint kit isn't completely fool-proof and there are so many things that could have gone wrong without our additional research into the tinting world.
