I suggest going with a smaller size. I'm 5,9 and the xlarge wears to long. Reordered a large and fit much better for me. The no beer gut helped with the fit.

I recently purchased the fully zip vest, and unfortunately, it has fallen far short of my expectations. From the get-go, the quality of the materials used in its construction is disappointingly cheap. It feels flimsy and lacks the durability that one would expect, even at its affordable price point.Sizing is another major issue with this vest. It runs way too small, and I found it uncomfortably tight, making it impractical for everyday use. It's clear that the manufacturer has sacrificed both quality and size to keep the cost low, but the result is a product that simply doesn't meet basic standards.The zipper, a critical component of any vest, also feels fragile and prone to issues. I worry about its longevity and whether it will hold up over time. A vest should provide warmth and comfort, but this one misses the mark on both fronts.In hindsight, it's true what they say – you get what you pay for. While the price may be tempting, the compromise in terms of quality and sizing is just not worth it. I'd advise potential buyers to consider investing a bit more in a higher-quality vest that will last longer and provide better value in the long run. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for a more reliable product.

Really nothing to dislike about it. Fits great! Looks great! Very comfortable. I like wear it with long sleeve or even short sleeve shirts for just that little bit of warmth in cool weather or even cold weather.

My honest review of a free product that I ordered through the Vine program.I wanted to get a sweater vest for those times when just a little additional warmth is required. I ordered this one as it had a zipper-front (which I prefer over a pullover). My pic has a bad color-shift to it so that the color looks off, but it is a true navy blue. I tried it on and it fits well (for a dad-bod 2x), is quite soft and comfy. My only complaint has to do with the zipper itself. The teeth are sharp which, as I found out with another sweater I have (also reviewed), can easily catch on the fabric and pull threads. So I'll need to be careful with it when wearing it (zipper-open), or placing it in the drawer. The zipper is why I dropped-off a star. Otherwise this is a very nice sweater vest that is worth considering if you are in need of such an item.I hope that you have found my review to be helpful. Regards.

First, fit: I like a loose fit and wanted a vest that will go over a shirt and not be tight. I had concerns about the "slim fit" in the product description. The good news: the fit is not particularly slim. I usually go for 'medium,' and sometimes find they're too small. This medium is a good fit for me. (5'8" 160 lbs).The zipper works OK, though not very smooth. Definitely could use an upgrade. It would also look nicer in a color that matches the vest or some other dark color. Black maybe. Silver is a bit conspicuous.I suspect that drying the vest cool or just flat drying will prolong the life of the zipper. I'll probably also dry flat to avoid shrinkage.Overall, I'm giving it a 4 because it's hard to find a soft zip vest with a color style that works OK with a collared shirt underneath. Most of the options are stand-up colors that are too tall to look right with a collared shirt, either stood up or forced down... if they can even lie down at all. So this option avoids buttons and has a low profile collar and looks pretty good with a business casual collared shirt.Upgrade that zipper and you have a 4 or 5 star vest.Edit: Downgraded to 3 stars. The glitchy and ugly zipper is bothering more than I expected. The silver probably blends in better on light colors than dark.

I really like this sweater. The color is deep and warm. I have sweaters in most colors except green, which is often ugly but this is beautiful.It fits well - I like a loose fit and it fits me perfectly. I wore it over a long-sleeved shirt and it looks very nice. It keeps me warm in the fall weather, without over-heating.I like the discreet leather tag on the zipper - looks elegant. Only thing is, the metal hardware connecting this tag to the actual zipper seems a little flimsy - easy to remedy but it is still work that could be avoided if a better quality of hardware is used. This is not enough to cut a star in the rating though.A beautiful sweater which I will be wearing frequently.Edit: After a couple of wears, the zipper started giving a problem - badly stitched so it becomes difficult to zip up. That is why, decreasing one star.
