Doesnt collect as much as id hoped. I think it still gets the super fine dust but cant take chips on deep cuts

Bought a second Ryobi One+ router so I didn’t waste time changing bits when working on cabinets. The new version came with this dust pickup and it worked so well I bought one for the original router which didn’t come with the attachment.I never had much use for Ryobi when the brand first came out. I was a Porter Cable man until they sold that off and the quality dropped. Tried one of the Ryobi One drills and really put it through hell. Still have it works great and it has been joined by most of the Ryobi One+ power tools and yard equipment. Never thought I’d cut the cord!!!

1st of some mix reviews on this one. But the main thing for me was...does it fit? For me and my Ryobi Router P601, it does. It fits just right. It wiggles very little, but it does fit. You just have to un-screw the 4 screws below the flat plastic face. I was worried it wouldn't fit because it has "RIDGID" labeled on it, but it works just fine. I think this just happened to fit the ryobi model, but it works no problem. Maybe i will change it later, when I getvthe Ryobi type one. But for now this works for me. I just hope it's not brittle when it starts to see some action. I will update this after I use it.

I'm using this on a P601 Palm Router and it snaps right into place albeit a little undersized so there is some play in the fit. In use, it pops off from the strain of the vacuum hose; It's held in place by only a thin plastic tab which I think would quickly wear down by it coming off and being re-attached. I added some Gorilla duct tape which holds it in place and doesn't interfere with router operation. This makes it semi-permanent but I'd intended to leave it on anyway.

There is not much info on the web page but it works perfectly for P601 Ryobi palm router. You need to loosen the base to insert it as it has couple of notches that keep it secure. It accepts 1 1/4 inch vacuum hose end as shown in the second picture (1 1/4 is inner diameter of the port). I tried putting 1 7/8 hose end over the port but it doesn't work unless I am guessing you have soft rubbery one from Rockler. Well worth the money as it significantly reduces the dust.
