Replaced the motor assembly for my Broan 679L-A. Fit perfectly with all factory hardware no modification needed. The replacement motor assembly uses less power and produces significantly less noise and 10cfm more airflow compared to the original blower.

Fit perfectly. But I'm disappointed in the noise level. This was replacing the super-cheap 3400rpm motor and straight radial impeller blades that you typically see in the $10 contractor fans. This motor is 1400rpm and the impeller is a better design. It doesn't seem much/any quieter than the original. Moves more air, but not as quiet as I wanted. If you want super quiet, look for 1.0 sones or less. Pan a sonic does a great job. super quiet. But I would have had to cut the ceiling to install. I'd hoped I could avoid that.Oh well..
