The other would have been fine if i had understood i was getting an18 inch cymbal and not a 21 inch cymbal. The product code was 218015x0. Ride cymbals are isn't 20 inch plus. How was i supposed to know? Yeah it's my bad but the seller punished me severely and 80$ restocking fee and $35 shipping fee. This has been the worst buying experience of my life because taking with the seller on the phone only resulted in argument and conflict

The raw portion of this cymbal offers a very dirty and unique sound, the lathed part offers a nice, pronounced and pleasing crash sound. This cymbal doubles as my ride and my favourite crash! I will be purchasing the 22” version and pairing them up, absolutely no regrets purchasing this cymbal.

Crash/ride?! Epic fail. Not a crash or a ride. The "drummers" who say this is a good crash/ride, need to hit more cymbals. The sound that comes off this cymbal is more like a china. Is it a good china? Uh, maybe. I like it's sound . . . as a china, but I haven't hit many chinas. Also, the brass portion of this cymbal is extremely thin. Mine came pre-bent in one spot. Still sounds okay . . . as a china. The video showing this cymbal being played, has to be a video of some other cymbal. Bottom line: if you're looking for a crash, ride or crash/ride, keep looking, this ain't it. But if you're looking for a china, you might like this cymbal, but keep in mind that the brass is very thin and may not last very long. Kind of expensive then, right?

This cymbal is exactly what I wanted...a brilliant bell, clear ride, and a nice crash ride benefit, all in one!

This cymbal is unlike any other I've owned. As the marketing material claims, the inner part if great for riding, while the out gives a shimmering thin crash sound. It's not a crash/ride that you can crash or ride. Instead it's a ride you can ride and a crash you can crash. It really is 'two in one'! Note: If you want a traditional crash/ride, this is NOT for you.

The sound out of this cymbal is brilliant, and you can get some really diverse sounds out of it from simple ride to a sweeping crash.

Likes:Crashes easily and decays faster than a regular crash. Bright, modern crash. Rides well. Bell has excellent ping. Looks cool. Jojo Mayer's signature is under the bell.Concerns:The first thing I noticed was how flexible the edges are. The edge is very easily deflected by my fingers. I was concerned that a super hit by my drumstick might permanently disfigure the cymbal but it hasn't happened. My 2 year old even tipped the cymbal stand over and I saw the cymbal land on its edge (in slow motion I might add) yet that didn't cause any deformation. Now I'm super curious how the 22" Omni sounds...And as usual, very quick delivery by Amazon Prime.
