AWESOME. Made the mistake of buying Monroes the first time. They technically fit but because the middle swivel of the top portion of the strut was made of medal, it made loud clanking noises, almost as if the glass was being put under stress. Basically it wasn't designed like the OEM Motorcraft lift struts were. The Sachs however were designed EXACTLY (and I mean exactly) like the original factory hood strut. Installed without a hitch and not only is there no odd sounds but they lift and close much nicer than the Monroes. I can't talk enough good about these lifts. I think I have been converted to Sachs for ALL of my future endeavors.

Thanks to Amazon.com I no longer have to hold my window/hatch open with my head. The Sachs SG30423 Lift Support is exactly what I needed. I was able to get two of them for the price that the local vendor (AutoZone) was asking for one. They installed in minutes. If you've been holding your window up with your head for awhile, be careful not to get hit in the face by the window after you've installed these. Awesome!
