I was disappointed.The knob protrudes out and rubs against your hand when carrying the tripod. This could get annoying, if you have to carry heavy equipment for a long period.Also you have to tighten it quite hard, to prevent any loose movement.But if you do that, it becomes impossible to loosen by hand. It is then necessary to use some kind of tool, which is inconvenient and could potentially cause damage.It hasn't been designed very well.
