This stool is great quality and pretty durable too. It's comfortable enough to sit on, but definitely not going to be something you want to be sitting on for hours on end or anything. The height is adjustable, but at the higher setting it gets a bit wobbly.

I decided to get this drum stool since I wanted to have one with a larger seat than the one I have and it seems like this one would be greatIncluded in the box are all the parts necessary to assemble the throne and a user guide. Assembling the throne is an easy process. You have to open the base until it sits well with the surface you’ll be leaving it on. After, insert the pole in the base to desired level, put the screws back in and then install the seat on it. Tighten the seat screw and you should be ready to go.Because of the way the middle pole is made, the seat can be adjusted in increments of approximately 1 inch. It should be precise enough for any use. The minimum height is 45 cm and the maximum one is 56.The seat is pretty large and comfortable. It is thick enough to not sink through the foam even though I’m 250 pounds. The thing I would be a bit worried about is the base and adjustment pole. The base seems a bit cheap and there is nothing to stop it from opening too much. As for the adjustment pole, the metal thickness is on the thinner side and I would be worried that it’ll bend over time. It did happened to me in the past with one that was pretty similar to this oneI do think that for a beginner or intermediate player, this would be fine. It is pretty comfortable to sit on for a while and is sturdy enough for normal uses. The seat wobbles a bit, but it’s really nothing bad.At this price point, I would say it is really fine. Drum hardware is expensive in general and I would say this is a good deal.

Comfortable enough for sitting on during a gig. It seems sturdy enough to me. I like the fact that the seat is sort of form fitting.As for overall build quality I would give it a 4/5.For the price point ~ 75.00 CDN I think it is a fair price for what you get.
