The Harley quick connects are nice, but IMO- didn’t like thought of just a wire cam system keeping saddle bags locked in. I read about someone almost losing a saddlebag with the quick connects. This eases my mind, especially with using the organizers to mount to theses.This is a quick 2 minute install of the clip/nut and screw saddle bags back on

These aren't quite as nice as the newer OEM stuff, but at a fraction of the cost, I would order again.

About 6 months ago on a group ride, we pulled into an unplanned rest area off to the side and a rider behind me pulled up and pointed at my left side saddle bag - one of the two factory 1/4-turn clips rattled loose and the whole hard bag was barely holding on, tilting sideways, by only the second clip. Was very fortunate to have someone help me out before an expensive loss. Don't let that happen to you!These screw-in replacements are a definite solution. The old clips required a little tinkering to pop off - be careful with your paint. The new ones screw right on. Once the clips are installed, bags are still quick and easy to detect the bags, but they won't come off by accident.We do enough longer trips and it could have been a real disaster to lose one of those bags days from home with important gear. Improved peace of mind is worth the price for sure. Very satisfied.
