Just finished installing the YazenMop SaddleBag Guard Crash Bars on my 2011 Electra Glide Classic, and I’m really happy with the results! These bars are sturdy, fit well, and provide the added protection I need for my saddlebags.Perfect Fit: These bars fit my 2011 Electra Glide Classic like a glove. No issues with alignment—everything lined up with the factory mounts.Durable: The construction is solid, and the black powder coating looks great, complementing my bike’s style.Easy Install: The instructions were clear, but you do need to trim the factory saddlebag support rails (about 4 inches), which took me around 30 minutes to do with a cutoff wheel. If you're comfortable with basic tools, it’s a fairly easy job.

They work in some bikes but I didn't read the fine print about certain bikes need additional hardware and some bikes, you'll have to cut some existing saddlebag protection out of your way. To me, that means these don't fit those bikes. They look ok but I can't get over feeling I was missed by the headline saying that it fits all those motorcycles.

I am new to the heavier touring bikes, and have recently began practicing my slow speed maneuvering in empty parking lots. I ordered these because I knew eventually I would dump my bike during these practice sessions.Well, I was right!. This product has already saved my saddlebags, and possibly more of the bike, from fall damage on numerous occasions. The bike was going REALLY slow, almost to the point of being at a stand still, and I lost footing and dumped it. The only damage was to the little plastic piece on the end of the bar.I will eventually take them off when I feel comfortable with the weight of this thing, but until them I breath easy knowing the bike is protected from my stupidity and the inevitable accidents that come with our "hobby"

The saddlebag crash bars just arrived and the parts look good, but there are no installation instructions. the Amazon listing shows a vague drawing titled "Installation" but it doesn't show where the front brackets mount and does installation require that I cut the original factory bottom bracket? Do the crash bars then need to be welded to the existing bad bracket (then painted)? I'm not going to be cutting anything on my bike without clear instructions on where to cut it. I can understand that maybe the instructions were just left out of the box. Please YazenMop, send me a pdf sheet with detailed installation instructions. Without instructions, I cannot recommend these bars and would not buy them again.I have emailed the seller requesting installation instructions and will update this review based on how they respond.
