I have an older Safari flea comb that's a softer and stronger plastic, I was hoping to get more. These are the typical hard plastic with sharper teeth that can scratch, and eventually bend in use.

We live in an area where fleas are endemic--just waiting at the end of every blade of grass for a dog to walk by in the warm weather. We keep things under control with weekly flea soap baths, but these little combs are perfect for helping keep things in check. Our little dog likes to be combed!

This year my cats got hit with a flea infestation. They are indoor but go out in their catio. After applying their first application of flea medicine there were so many fleas still on them. They are down to almost none before their second application. The combs are getting the ones left.

Cheap little combs. If your pet has thick hair, this will not work well. I keep them by the doors and run over the dogs fur when they come inside. The little combs do catch the ticks before they attach. I even use a separate one on my hair after a hike to make sure I do not have ticks on me.

Very good for fleas and getting little debris from skin line, and removes dandruff from a dry coat prior to conditioning skin

Standard plastic flea combs. Nothing fancy, but they do the job. Back in the good ol' days, I could get this type of flea comb for free from my vet. Nowadays I can't seem to find them in pet stores for purchase - they only sell the more expensive variety. My current vet sells a similar plastic flea comb for $2.50 per each. Good bargain here. Thanks!
