This is a decent set of plastic 'pliers' that are designed to easily connect safety eyes for craft projects. I did have to order a box of eyes separately - it would've been nice to come with a couple so I could test it out, but no big deal. I got it because I have some punch needle kits I did with a friend and the eyes for those are all just glued on. I really prefer safety eyes, but my experience with those has been snapped plastic, painful fingers, and fiddling around to get it done. I tried this tool (with my separately purchased eyes) and was able to get them where I wanted in less than two minutes from opening the package to setting the piece back down. No breakages, no hurt fingers. It is a single-use item, which I generally try not to buy these days, but it wasn't too expensive and I hope I can get some value out of it.

So I tool works great. It's so much easier than trying to secure safety eyes by hand. With this tool it gets nice and tight and it's quick and easy to use.

I wish I had bought this sooner for my daughter! It makes attaching safety eyes so much easier—no more sore fingers or struggling to snap them in place. Fits a wide range of sizes and feels sturdy in the hand. It’s cute, comfortable to use, and saves tons of time on my crochet projects. A must-have tool for anyone who makes stuffed animals or dolls!
