I had bought two from Rock Auto and they both failed within two years, When in D it would display N/D in boxes. When it was in R it would display R/N.When I installed this one, It only boxed one letter. When it was in D that was the only letter boxed. When in R it was the only letter boxed. It has been 6 Months and it is still working perfect. I would buy from them again if I ever needed another one, but honestly I don't think I will ever need another one. I am so happy!Update: I started having problems with this one a just short of one year later. It started with three boxes lighting up around the N D 2, then that stopped and now it is getting really hard to start, I have to play with the shift lever for awhile to get it to start. I was so happy with it till this.

I bought this in April 2018 and now, December 2018, the part is failing. Pretty disappointed. Very hard to find out any info about warranty and the price has gone up $50. Worked okay for those 6 months though....

This was the replacement I needed for my 2000 Mazda MPV that transmission issues. Before replacing this, my van wouldn't start in park and rarely in neutral, and its stuck in 2nd gear when it placed on Drive. When park is engaged, it gets stuck there and is really hard to disengage. The boxes never highlighted which gear the car was in. Scanned the car and got the code P0706. Replacing this solved all those issues. Boxes show up on the dash highlighting what gear it is in, park doesn't get stuck no more, starts up every time, and gears shift like they should. Replacement is easy but you must know what to do and how to align it. With time and patience, the replacement is doable. Overall, this product is what I needed! 5 stars! If your vehicle experiences transmission issues, consider scanning codes before agreeing to an expensive repair!

One of the few (if not the only) company to ship to Hawaii. Installed this switch and now my Mazda MPV starts reliably every time. Amazing what one small switch can do. Sears wanted $800 to replace my alternator. Found out from a friend the starting problem was the Neutral Safety Switch. My van starts like a champ!!! Two thumbs up on this seller and this product. Thank you very much for shipping this to Hawaii.
