I got around to installing this post today. All the parts needed for the install are included (cable house and cable with a shifter end, two ferrules, lever and clamp, all the hardware) but there is ZERO documentation other than a small piece of paper that explains the adjustments for the clamp. I suspect that anyone buying this to install it themselves will have already done a few cable-actuated droppers and won't have a problem, but if you've never done one then I would encourage you to do some research as you'll need at least one specialized tool to cut the cable and cable housing to size. The dropper body and shaft look great and are nicely machined. The dust wiper on the top looks to be good quality, which bodes well for all the internal seals. The lever is all metal, but made of cast (not machined) parts. It has a huge amount of adjustability to position the lever at just the right spot and angle you like. The cable and housing are generic quality but fine for this application. If this post and lever came out of a box from SRAM, KS, ect. I wouldn't think twice about it.My major hang-up with this post is the complete lack of documentation, and therefore servicability. There is no air port anywhere on the post. I have no idea how to disassemble it without just going to town with some tools, which probably isn't going to go well. SAFORT doesn't even list this post (or any other dropper post) in its 2025-2026 catalogue. Without any of that, this basically becomes a disposable dropper and as soon as it doesn't work right, it goes in the trash. For the price, that's a hard sell

Simple set up dropper post for a mountain bike. Always wanted to try one. I put it on a Yeti mountain bike I have. Easy to install a WTB seat and drop pot trigger was easy to route. Seems well and solid. No slippage as of yet.

This Safort branded dropper post is defiantly a high-quality product and looks and feels like the bigger name branded options. You get everything you need to install this, but you will likely need a tool to cut the wire to size since it is pretty long. Two concerns are, will this have the same level of after purchase support for repairs and rebuilds as necessary? Also, for me the price is a bit steep and should be closer to the $80 to $120 range depending on the size. Overall, this has worked great on my bike, the install was easy and straight forward, even though this didn't come with install instructions.

Put this dropper on my 2024 Roscoe. Stock was a 150mm tranzx dropper which unsurprisingly devloped a bit of horizontal wiggle and depsite wiping the post off after most rides - the stanchion of the dropper eventually scratched and gouged and the actuation of it going down felt like it was just griding.I used the same cable that was already in my bike but it clipped in to the dropper just fine. i did use the included dropper post lever which is SURPSIINGLY good! uses a bearing and has a few placement adjustments to get the best position. seat goes up and down quickly and smoothly. Probably disposable once it gets worn like tranzx and xfusion basic posts, but not bad im impressed!

Being made of aluminum, this dropper seat post is every bit as light as the "big names", while coming in at a substantially lower cost. Rated for 400lb riders, I can't imagine breaking it, and the overall build quality of all the bits and pieces is really outstanding. It's for internal cable routing bike frames only, so make sure it fits your bike. Installation is pretty involved if you're going from a standard seat post to this, as you'll have to route your cables properly, and cut them to fit your bike. One thing to beware, is that no instructions are included with this. I suppose there is an assumption that you've done this before, but not everyone has, so if you have any questions, there are quite a few bike websites and YouTube videos on "how to install a dropper seat post". It's definitely worth looking into if you've never done it before. In all, I'm quite happy with this seat post. It's surprisingly light for the money and made really well. My only complaint is a lack of documentation. Overall, though, well worth the investment.

I installed this onto an ozark slalom medium frame using a 30.9 to 31.6 shim. There was enough room to fully insert it. Considering that I installed it a little higher, I could have probably gone with a 150mm drop.I always forget to trim the housing before running the wire. So make sure you test fit and cut the housing, before running the wire or you will need to do it twice. The hook at the bottom that holds the lever appears to be plastic. Maybe it is just coated, but I cannot tell. The hook is not lined up with the direction of the saddle. It's about 15 degrees off. Not sure if it matters, but it seems odd.The dropper lever was easy to set up. Even though I thought the set screw was fully tight, the cable slipped. So I tightened it again. It has not slipped since, but I'm keeping an eye on it.The video shows a slow looking return, but mine pops up pretty fast. I would say that it is at least as fast as my PNW dropper.Update: I swapped out the 30.9 for a 31.6. It fits just as I had hoped. The collar sits 1 inch above the seat post tube. And now I have a 155mm drop. The resistance on the drop for 31.6 is definitely greater than what it takes on the 30.9. It's still smooth. The customer support is superb.
