Perfect for it's intended use

On the Plus side the interior tubes seem very thick. Unfortunately the zipper design is very poor. There's two zippers and they are both smaller than the zippers found on my Cabela's rod and reel case. The description says oversized when actually they are undersized The huge design flaw is that those zippers are required to make a 90° bend to close and open the end of the case. The amount of force and manipulation required to get the zippers around that 90° bend leads me to believe that whoever designed the case never actually used the zippers after it was manufactured. There is no doubt in my mind that after a few uses the zippers are going to fail. The zippers are not even smooth on the straight section of the case. After spending a half hour trying to figure out the best way to get the zipper around the 90 degree bend and discovering there was no easy way I returned the item to Amazon the following day and placed an order with Cabelas for one of their double two-piece 9 foot rod cases. I noticed that the interior tubes of my existing four piece double rod case from Cabelas did not appear to be quite as thick as those on the Sage case. I don't think that's going to be a problem unless I actually run over the case in my jeep.
