Your cart is empty.We offer the MastL, professional mast ladders from high quality textile materials for masts up to 25m long, especially useful for climbing the mast alone. As a supporting structure, two very durable and thick polypropylene webbing of the reputable producer (strength up to 1500 kg each according to ISO 13934-1) were used, and very durable, specialized technical sewing threads were used for sewing. Each step of the ladder is reinforced with an additional webbing sewn with load-bearing webbings, which further strengthens the entire structure and protects the user in the event of worn of step elements. A triangular hanger made of AISI 316 steel with a strength up to 2800kg is used to pull up the ladder on the mast. Due to the high safety factor adopted by the designer, we recommend loading the ladders with a working load of up to 200 kg. The product can be optionally equipped with a set of slides to pull up on the mast, attached to the ladder using plastic shackles (included in the set). Attaching the ladder to the mast along its entire length guarantees a stable position of the user during activities performed at height. Attention! Every time you climb the mast, also when using the ladder, professional safety devices must be used to ensure protection against falling from a height. Detailed dimensions of the A89 guide are shown in one of the photos. Remember: to use the ladder, it is recommended that the mast is equipped with a track for slides along the mast.

Another review said that it did not come with the snap-in plastic shackles but the one I got did when I ordered without the slide.When ascending it's much easier to grab the mast with your hands rather than the next rung, to get your foot in the next rung make your foot parallel to the mast and then step when you're in the loop.If you don't grab the mast it's quite challenging, I've been up and down several times now and technique definitely matters. So far I love it.

Do the job good , step shouls be closer as the material streach ...I am 5,9 tall and it is not easy to used because the step are streatching making the distance between each step longeur,,,,but do the job,,, Shorter peoples be aware...Beside that it is excellent quality,,,good price.

Indispensabile per salire in testa d'albero. Ottima qualità anche se prezzo un po' elevato.Senza i garrocci da inserire nell'iinferitura bisogna che la scaletta sia abbastanza tesa.

One thing I didn't see is the size of the A89 slides/slugs. After measuring them they are 5/16 in. slides. YouHave the option to order them without the slides and you would save approximately 22 dollars. You should be able to buy the slides and plastic clips for around that price here on Amazon. If you have an old sail around you can also scavenge slugs from it, which is what I did.

I had put my mast up and had to make an adjustment to the top of the furler on my Hunter 26. I have been up masts on bosuns chairs several times before but this was way easier to set up and much less physical work getting up to the top. Its well made and feels secure.
