We are having a pool installed in a couple of weeks and we will be building one of those faux wood decks. I didn't even know something like this existed. This is going to be so helpful when installing the boards to make sure we have nice even gaps. I was disappointed one side on one piece was broken, but luckily we weren't going use that size/side anyways so no big deal. These remind me of a larger version of tile spacers. I like too that they have a little notch where you place the screw so all your screws are equality spaced. If you are OCD like us, you definitely need some of these before you start your next project!

These spacers make spacing the decking boards easier.Just insert these spacers along the length of the deck board, they will aid with maintaining the spacing as you screw down the deck board. Then just move these spacers to the next board and secure it.These spacers are well-made and should last for multiple projects. The spacers have 4 different thicknesses that are used with different materials. Please refer to the manufacturer of your decking material.I recommend these spacers.

The spacers work great for installing decking. Love them.

These spacers were amazing when doing a deck for my buddy. they made the spacing a no brainer which is nice and deck turned out perfect. If I ever lost these I would order again.

These are some handy spacers. They come in 4 common thicknesses on each spacer, which makes them very convenient. My only concern is that they look to be 3d printed and may fall apart after a while. You can see the surface finish is a little rough and may separate where the layers of plastic were laid down. Also, a little pricey at 10 bucks for a 3d printed product. I would willingly pay that price if these were injection moulded. Injection moulding would also give them a much smoother finish.

My deck has reached the age where the boards are all in need of replacement. Of course that can be easier said than done given that the dimensions of new lumber don't match the old exactly and re-using the old screw-holes is a recipe for poor performance. So you have to act like you're putting on boards for the first time. Which means you need to make sure your spacing is right. If you don't the end result will be terrible. That's where these come in. Just pick a size, then toss a spacer at each end of the board and push it against the one next to it that's already secured. Screw in, remove the spacer, and you're done. Fast and easy with no guessing or measuring required. You'll save yourself hours of work and a bunch of headaches.

I do a few projects, like planter boxes, that have wood slats. I want them separated for water drainage and dust transparency. These are well crafted, with precise measurements for the width. Because of the cross shape, it is easy to drop one into the joint between boards with any other adjustment or fearing it falling through. The thickness is the same too to bottom, so it is good for almost any spacing needs.

I'm a tactile woodworker. Like to measure by feel/stacking spacers. As opposed to calipers, though I do that too. Not efficient, just viscerally satisfying.Gets the job done right, every time. Despite my flaws. ;-)This is nice, as it has 4 common small measurements in one package, where I can just rotate through. Quickly verify and compare which thickness I'm dealing with. Both for thin things, and to fetch the last spacer for a stack.
