These adapters are neither accurate or precise. I used this with a CNC router and the runout on bits with this adapter are 100x greater than bits without the adapter. A 3mm bit fit loosely into a hole drilled with a 2mm drill bit. That is absurd.The adapter matches the product pictures and does fit a 1/8" bit into a 1/4" collet. That's why I won't give it 1 star. If you don't need precision or accuracy and just want approximate placement, then these will do fine.

I've always noticed that my 1/8" milling bits are more prone to being stuck/broken on the job accidentally If I had incorrectly set the feed rates for the materials during the calibration phases , when doing the adaptive clearing actions than the 6mm or larger bits.And when such accidents do occur they the usual tearout at the adapter :( So to save yourself from trouble to find one at the right time, better to keep a few handy. This one is definitely good quality.
