So I’ve had my old SwimPure salt chlorine generator system for years, and it finally stopped working, it served its time well. After some browsing around, I came across this Salt Cell T15 Series Compatible with Hayward T15/T9/T3 and decided to give it a try, especially since it is compatible with systems like the one I had SwimPure, and also other brands.Installation was actually way easier than I expected. I thought about having to call someone or play around with a bunch of wiring, but it pretty much just clicked right in where the old cell was. It even started right up with no adjustments needed. That’s a huge win for me.It’s been running smoothly since the install, and the water’s been super clear. It’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to: keeping the pool clean. I have a 40,000-gallon pool, and this thing handles it like a champ.One thing I really appreciated is how well it seems to be calibrated right out of the box. It synced up with my system’s salt reading.All in all I’m very happy. The price was fair, installation was simple, and it's been working like a charm. If you’re replacing an old SwimPure or Hayward cell, I’d definitely this one is excellent, I feel like I made a solid choice.

I have an older Hayward prologic automation system. The instructions that come with this salt cell specify the main firmware revision needs to be 4.10 or higher. My firmware is older and not upgradable, so this salt cell won't work. I emailed support and never heard back. Additionally, the cell is not what is pictured here and only has a small sticker on the bottom which doesn't match a model number for Hayward compatibility. Might have worked but I had to return it.

Replaced my T-3 cell with this T-15 replacement. Set my controller for the new model which is just pushing diagnostic button till it showed T-3 and cycling the chlorinate switch till it showed T-15. After the set up the cell worked great and no issues at all. I liked the 3 year warranty as my last T-3 cell only lasted 30 months.
