This “gun” is just a gimmick. I can hit a fly directly and it’ll knock them out. Within a few seconds, it’ll fly away. This is from a distance of a foot or less.Also, I have the add-on laser. All this does is make the fly “fly” away.Don’t waste your money. It’s a play toy for kids. Nothing more.

So, its bright, its easy to install, and most importantly, it looks awesome. Unfortunately, it completely defeats itself. The laser scares the flies. At least Missouri flies. As soon as the beam touches a fly, poof, off it goes. I mean instantly. You aren't getting a shot off before it is gone.Complete waste of money if you want it for your bug gun. It is nice for a bb gun though...

This is fun, downside I learned flies see lasers. So use it for a split second only or the fly flies away to continue to annoy you.

I bought this for my Bug-A-Salt. Works great. Bug-A-Salt-not so much. Took it off the Bug-A-Salt and reinstalled on a home defense shot gun. Works great. This shotgun rarely gets fired so I suspect the laser will outlast me. I wouldn't recommend this product for a firearm that gets frequent usage as it this laser is probably not ruggedized like a tactical laser site is.

Works great killing flies my husband and granddaughters had fun shooting them, I didn’t have that much fun cleaning up the salt though.
