This water vac was great once we got it to work. I had about 3” of water in our pool that needed draining, and since it was below the drainage hole I needed this to do so. We had quite a way for the water to go to be away from the back of our house so we attached an additional hose to the one provided… the water would not suction. As soon as we removed the extra hose it began suction again but flooded our backyard. Please look into an alternative solution for this problem as this is an excellent concept!

I received the Salty Captain FlowVac two days ago, and finally had the chance to use it today after a fun day of Jet skiing on the lake. All I can say is — wow! This thing works incredibly well. It vacuumed out the wells in my jet ski quickly and efficiently, with zero hassle. No more messing around with towels or sponges trying to soak up leftover water.What I really love is that it hooks right up to the water and doesn’t require any electricity. I used this Venturi-powered vacuum for my pool, and it worked way better than I expected. It connected right to my garden hose and had strong suction that cleared out standing water and debris with ease. No electricity or pumps required, which made setup quick and stress-free. It’s lightweight but feels durable, and perfect for tackling pool cleanups without dragging out heavy equipment. Great tool to have on hand—especially for the price!
