Was fine except the one reason I bought it was for the 3.5mm mini plug. It arrived with the Samson proprietary plug which was not mentioned in listing (they literally show the mini plug in the images accompanying the amazon listing.) They had no idea of what they were actually selling. Very disappointing.

Be AWARE that this has a 3.5mm connector. My belt pack has a TA3 socket which this will not connect to unless you can find an adapter. Good luck with that, the ONLY one I could find on the entire internet was a one foot cable for $35, which is what the headset itself should cost. Gave it a 3 star because it is what it says it is, but not the HS5 that connects to the body pack. If you can't connect to the body pack, it's useless.

great mic, it will fit the Samson SW05T00-07 7-Channel Wireless Belt pack Transmitter, where my original mic plug wouldn't fit

Headset mic works very well. Clear and the condenser function that amplifies the sound slightly is a wonderful improvement.

I like the sound. It is comfortable to wear.The only problem I have is the rubber covering for the wire that goes over your ear moves.It can and will move back enough and have the wire sticking out the hole on the rubber tubing and could cut into the side of your head.I fixed it by putting a small black rubber band behind it to prevent it from moving back.This is a big design flaw.
