Sturdy, and well built. It is a little heavy and on the large size. So depending on what your plans are, it may be perfect. The slots are a good size and will allow for sifting easily. I find it easy to use at a good price point.

I took this to the beach this winter to sift items from the sand. It also works with wet sand, but I used it in the water to move the sand through the sieve. It ships with the handle off and you screw the handle on. Be sure to screw the handle on tight for best use.

Good quality well made sifter sturdy handle and has an extra hole to put a long handle to save your back. Good value for the price when I received it.

Sharp looking, well built sand scoop. Generously proportioned, much larger than it appears in the pictures. Stainless steel construction is a big plus for me. I only wish it came with a long extension handle but even so we're looking forward to using it next summer!

I have two pro-sumer grade metal detectors, but I've never had such a tool. For sifting through sand that has triggered a signal, this tool is tough to beat. The gauge of steel used is sturdy enough, but light enough for such a capacious tool. There are two things I would improve, though.The scoop really needs to come with a long handle right where one obviously fits.Also, I am somewhat dubious of the size of the welds, especially the ones that attach the four struts to the handle and the top deck of the strainer. They look like they could break, and should be larger. Time will tell.

This is made well from pretty good metal and works very well too. Upon opening it up I took it out to test and I much prefer it to the little shovel I've been using. It sifts very well and the holes are small enough that not many things of value would be able to get through with the sand. It also does well as a shovel if you get the angle right to pull sand away which is a great bonus.

I've always wanted one of these ever since I started doing metal detecting especially at the beach it gets real tired from digging through all that sand by hand this makes it much more simple if it's you can just scoop it up and shake it around and it's a metal usually you can hear it clinking around in there and then just sit down and get your whatever you found in there and get on your way it's really tiresome to be spend a whole bunch of time and then find out it's just a bottle cap or something like that this helps save a lot of time I highly recommend it
