The data disk is fine but the USB adaptor didn't allow the photos on the card to be loaded or viewed. It just didn't show in the device manager. I switched adaptors and all the photos transferred to the compute. ScanDisk is excellent. Otherwise no problem.

I had bought a memory card with 64GB and it didn't work. Did more research and learned the Canon EOS Rebel T-1 will not work with anything over 32GB. Luckily the 64GB works in my husband's video camera.
