Made of something similar to thick foam core board and does the job of holding and organizing all of my markers! Only the back pieces needed a bit of force to get together, but the rest of the pieces fit just fine. There were a few extra pieces in case something broke while putting it together. I used some small screws to reinforce (not included) and put some felt pads on the bottom to make sliding it around easier.Only gripe is that my markers get stuck in the holes sometimes because they have a little plastic on the caps that prevents them from rolling off my desk. Otherwise, happy with the purchase!

Do not purchase. Pieces do not fit together. Instructions literally say to use a knife or sandpaper to make them fit.
