This PU sounds incredibly well for the price! You just can't go wrong with these! I cannot hear any difference between this PU and my American Standard Fender Tele. The only thing that I must point out is that after installation I noticed the OUT OF PHASE issue (for some people), but I simply reversed the yellow and the black wires, PROBLEM SOLVED! I have noticed that the yellow is acting like the ground (Usually Yellow is Hot) just be aware of that!

This pickup is the best deal going for Tele pups on amazon hands down. Easily sounds just as good as my dimarzio stack or lollar vintage and pretty darn close to my don mare though not quite as bright as the last. This has the classic tele tone you're after without ice picky harshness and it goes from chicken picken to rock drive with equally pleasing results. If you're looking for a great sounding pickup on a budget you found it!

2nd one I've bought that showed up dead. Leads were soldered so it was in the winding.

I used the pickup in my new telecaster box guitar build I did for fun with some other leftover parts and it is really one of my favorite guitars and sounds amazing!
