As expected from anything associated with Sara Bareilles, this album is beautifully written and composed. It's been highly useful to have the accompanament to her interpretations of the songs from her musical. Singing them myself has helped me expand my vocal range to new heights. I reccomend this book to anyone hoping to do the same.

I haven't seen Waitress (the musical or the original movie, for that matter!), but I've enjoyed listening to the music. I debated buying this version or the Broadway version - I ultimately chose this one because the sung melody line is consistently incorporated into the piano part, which makes playing the songs as piano solo pieces more gratifying. If you plan to accompany a vocalist (or sing yourself!), or if you are really set on some songs not in the concept album, the Broadway version may be better. For this version, the songs are not particularly difficult (many are nearly sight-readable for experienced pianists), and "You Matter to Me" and "She Used to Be Mine" are especially beautiful.

I try all the products that I review for at least 15 days -- My hope is that if there is something that is an issue that I can spot it.Singers Anthology is always a terrific book..My reviews all go by the same breakdown on my star rating of a product:5 stars – I love it! It is awesome and I highly recommend everyone to purchase this product!4 stars – I like it, but there are some flaws. I would purchase again.3 stars - It was okay, but I would probably not buy it again unless there are no other options.2 stars – There may be worse products out there, but you can definitely find better choices.1 star – I dislike the product, enough said – I cannot tell you no, but this is as close to that as possible..

This book contains sheet music from the pre-Broadway premier of WAITRESS album Ms. Bareilles released. So some of the songs are from the album not the show, and some of the songs from the show and its cast album are not included. Although I would love to have had more of the songs from the show, I was very happy with the songs in the book.

This songbook is absolutely lovely! The only thing I didn't like was that they transposed some songs down a half-step for "playability". However, I'm not opposed to learning how to transpose on sight, anyway! It's a great book for a great record and show!

I remember whistling and humming Lennon and McCartney tunes as a child. Now, I can't stop doing the same with each Bareilles "Waitress" song.

Loved the difficulty level and all the songs. There are some arrangements that I prefer from this album vs. the Waitress original cast recording, so I was happy they made this album into a piano book.
