This Sashiko thread is just the right thickness for mending denim and canvas. It works very well and looks great. Great choice for the newcomer or old timer it's easy to use. It is plenty durable I use this on work clothes and materials that see rough service. This is a high quality thread made in Japan and I love this brand.

Shasiko embroidery is done with tightly woven floss. This fits the bill.

I have been learning sashiko and the real thread is so much better to work with than embroidery floss. It's stronger and smoother as well as having the perfect number of threads and easy to pull, so well worth a little extra expense.

Lovely cotton thread that I have been using for stitching on paper with a finer needle. Threads well and stitches even better. It is a little on the thicker side which is what I wanted. Would buy again. great value for money

My only issue with this is that the color is a bit more towards what I would call "burnt orange" rather than a maybe sunflowerish yellow, but I have two other places I can use this for my autumnal projects, rather than summery ones. This cotton is just great.

While I have not yet had a chance to use these beautiful threads, I am thrilled with the apparent quality. They are better than anything I have looked at. Colors are saturated, hand is soft. I had been using crochet thread but no more I am sure!
