These are garbage. I bought 2 of these, Used with 20 ounce caulk sausage tubes, the inner diameter of the caulk gun tube is slightly too large. both caulk guns allow the foil to slip past the plunger instead of bunching it all up. It makes reloading a messy and time consuming chore. Also, the mechanism digs little notches into the shaft making it harder and harder to reload and use each time, so that after just one day of use the caulk gun is unusable. Total waste of money.

This feels like a good quality caulk gun. I've only used it for cartridges so far, which it works well for once you make the necessary adjustments, but purchased it to use with sausage tubes so I don't have to change cartridges so often when doing a big DIY job. The problem is I'm not finding sausage caulk at the big box stores. So I need to figure out where to buy the big tubes for a good price to really use this gun as intended. I'm looking forward to the ability to change tips, and am especially happy to have the angled tip for hard to reach spots.

It's okay. I'm not really impressed. It works and it is nice to have a caulking gun that will do sausage tubes. I thought I was getting a thirty six dollar caulking gun; to me this feels like a cheap caulking gun dressed up. If I had this in hand at the big ugly orange store it would be right back on the shelf when I looked at the price.3 Stars~ Thanks for Reading - Have an Incredible Life! ~

Much better than the cheap stamped aluminum guns you'd get a the hardware store. This looks like it'll last for years of use. Not a lot else to say, you get exactly what you see, and it's very durable. If you need to fill some cracks with caulk, this should do the job admirably.

The name sausage tube caulk gun threw me off a bit. It works very well though. Easy to load with roll/tube of adhesive. Easy to clean so far. I'm sure that's solely dependent on the type of adhesive, temperatures, and you wash it put right away or not. Comes with 6 nozzle tips including one bent tip for hard to reach areas. Trigger is easy to squeeze and doesn't hurt my hands to use. Durable and versatile. Good value and quality.

Ordered one of these with high hopes. Received a used and broken caulk gun packaged with new tips. Very disappointing

If you're used to the hardware store stamped-metal-and-ratchet caulking guns, you'll consider this a dream. Smooth operation, easy enough to load and unload, and much better control over the caulk flow. Works fine with standard tubes of caulk, but remember to flip the plunger around (it's not mentioned in the minimal instructions; undo the nut, pull off the metal plates, flip the plunger, reinstall, and put the plates on top, then fasten with the nut). Due to the length, this can be a little awkward in tight places.I wish they'd make a shorter version for the standard tubes and beef up the directions a bit, but this is a winner in my book.

The Zyklonix caulk gun was ordered for use around our home. This is a good DIY or commercial caulk gun. I was impressed with its flexibility for being used with either a cartridge or sausage pack. There are a couple of adjustments to be made with the gun when switching from cartridge to pack or vice versa. In either case, I found the adjustments and use of the gun to be easy. Obviously, it is my recommendation that one use a cartridge for DIY use, and a sausage pack for any commercial use depending upon the amount of caulking that needs to be done. The unit is sturdy, and is easy to manipulate in either type of use. I thought the price to be a little expensive for a gun I would use around the home, but for someone who has to do a substantial amount of DIY or commercial work, then it is probably a very good price. In any event, I would order this gun again.
