The sound doesn't change with pressing the key things, it's just a consistent squealy squeak sound, which is a bit disappointing. It's not offensively loud but it's definitely noisy. It appears to be pretty well-made though, the plastic material is sturdy and everything seems to move and operate as it should. The color is vibrant and fun and my toddler just loves it.

It's super lightweight, which comes off as very cheap. Doesn't seem to play different "notes" either - just one obnoxious tone. I got it as a gift, but I'm glad I tried it out first. I wouldn't gift this to anyone - feels like a 50 cent toy from the goodwill.
