  • (2) Natural Sax Neck Cork and (2) Composite Sax Neck Cork
  • (1) .25oz Jar of Key Polish with (1) .67oz bottle of key oil
  • (1) Tube of Cork Grease
  • (1) Contact Cement Brush, (1) razor Blade, (1) Written Instructions
  • ***Requires Contact Cement for Installation (not included)

This kit comes with (2) new, composite tenon corks and (2) new, natural tenon corks. All of the corks have a beveled edge. One razor blade, one tube of Instrument Clinic Premium Cork Grease, one contact cement brush, (1) .15oz bottle of key oil, (1) .25oz jar of key polish, (4) sandpaper strips and written instructions are also included. Many musicians prefer composite cork for marching band or student instruments and natural cork for more expensive instruments or those that will be used primarily indoors. With this kit you can choose the desired cork and use the other to practice the installation, as it does take some practice for a perfect install.*Installation requires contact cement. A one ounce tube will be more than enough. It can be purchased at most Dollar stores, Walmart, Amazon and many other retailers. Be sure to use a non-water based contact cement, such as Weldwood, Super Glue Brand (not super glue adhesive, but Super Glue brand contact cement).

First time replacing the neck cork myself, after 55 years of playing. Extra cork included. Loved the directions, which were very clear in guiding me through the process, including stripping away the old cork & residue.

I tried cutting the cork and it just fell apart. I tried glueing and it didn't stay. I had my local Music GO Round store do it for me. Waste of money in my opinion.

Did the job; however that glue brush is a one use only, so be prepared to purchase more if you intend to use the kit again. And you need better sandpaper than what is provided here and the contact cement, but we were prepared for that by reading other's reviews. Instructions were clear, mission accomplished.

I was prepared to go out and spend $40 to have a music store replace the cork on my soprano saxophone. After seeing this product and reading the reviews, I decided to take a risk and do the job myself. The directions included were very easy to follow because of the pictures included. I had no trouble getting the new cork on my sax. The end result was a new cork that gave my saxophone a bright, new tone that I am more than happy with. There are reviews that state that the sandpaper included didn't work well for them. I don't know why there was a problem, as I had no difficulty with it.This product is a must have for anyone who needs a new cork at a low price!! I plan on doing my alto saxophone when it needs it using the other cork that was included with this kit.

This kit made it very easy for me to recork the neck of my old tenor sax. Protip: Buy some real sandpaper at the hardware store. The tiny strips that come with this kit are so small that they're almost useless.

I've never tried to repair anything in my horns before, however within a matter of minutes I was able to follow the simple instruction sheet and change the corks for both my tenor and soprano sax

Great instructions... I was able to change this out for my boy and I'd never done it before. Seems to be working beautifully now!!! Thanks for the great price and easy to follow instructions.

The composite cork is leaky, low notes don't respond very well with it. I spoke to a pro who said, don't use composite.
