Purchased this product because I thought it may be a good alternative for tritium vials that I needed for my Elcan rifle scope. If you are looking for something that will glow for several years, do not buy this product. I ended up forking over a little more money and buying real tritium from Taiwan. These vials are luminous if you stick them directly under a light but they only glow bright for a few minutes. These vials can be used for testing equipment I guess or to put in your kids toys.

I have no idea what the purpose of these is, unless it's to have a poor imitation of tritium. The vials appear to be glass and are sized like a tritium vial. But they are defniitely not tritium. They're made of regular glow powder or similar. Interesting but it's disappointing that this shows up so high in searches for tritium. They work fairly well for what they are, they're just probably not what you're looking for.

These tubes are filled with a glow powder. Charging them results in a decent glow for around an hour. After that, it gets dim but still maintains a faint glow for a while. Tritium is very hard to come by right now, so these tubes are a decent alternative. 4 stars because the glow time is somewhat short.
