I bought this as a backup to my Yeasu original battery that came with my radio. I always carry it with my kit and I haven’t actually used it but another pilot realized her battery was dead so I let her use it and it worked perfectly. It’s always a good idea to have a backup just in case, and in case someone else needs one. As a paraglider pilot having a radio is very important, and this being a backup doesn’t need to be the expensive name brand battery, just one that works and it does work just fine.
