Not exactly as expected, but nevertheless healthy and quite beautiful. Great packaging! Looking forward to spring growth. Recommend. Thank you!

We kill everything.... Including succulents. We got this one because the instructions were clear and we're in a humid area near water. It's growing great next to our pond. As long as we keep an eye on the temps, it's low maintenance. The only unhappy party are the frogs.....Shipping was fast and well wrapped. As soon as it arrived we unpacked it. (I remember because it was a gift and I gave it that day.) We've repotted once.

I appreciate doing business with small growers. However, with my purchase I feel as if being small is also reason for underperforming. The small young sarracenia was received in a less than healthy state. Weather was warm- no freeze. No instructions provided. Like a sheet of paper with helpful insight about age, growing conditions, well this was just too much. Sad.

I have it with all my other carnivorous plants so the conditions are right. If it survives I’ll update this but I was kind of disappointed. It was really small and all of the pitchers where turning brown at the tips when I got it.

There are three pitures that are still green, however they have mostly closed and are dry and unable to catch bugs, the rest has turned brown and withered away. I reacted it hoping not to shock it too much more and hopes that it will somehow bounce back. When replanting I noticed that there was a good amount of mold forning on the moss... For 20.00 and shipping the product should have been way better. If it does in fact bounce back I will update my post. Until then contacting seller. This is a sad day for carnivorous plants everywhere 😔

The plant arrived looking similar to the picture (smaller and not as bright and perky or healthy). It's small but had many pitchers (~5). I left it in the container and watered it with rain water or distilled water only. I used plenty of water, as others suggested. I gave it medium lighting. It didn't take long for the pitchers to start dying, which seems typical.I have another different type of pitcher plant that I feared may be dying when I first got it but quickly began showing signs of new growth, and while it lost its original pitchers, within a few months had many new tiny ones growing on big new leaves. So far, this plant is not showing signs of new growth and the pitchers have all died. I slowly clipped most off as they began shriveling (to save plant energy for new growth), but I fear it is too late. I have no idea if this is my fault or if the plant was already doing bad after it arrived. If it was too much water, or not enough light (or too much light). If I should have repotted it, or not cut off the dying pitchers. Either way, it is disappointing since I was able to get a different pitcher plant to survive with the same methods (albeit a different type and from a different seller). No matter the reason, be wary. This may not be so simple to grow. If for some reason I can salvage the plant, I will update this with how. Otherwise, it is safe to assume that I failed.

Item arrived today. I'm a first timer when it comes to this type of plant. Seems healthy but Much smaller then I thought it was going to be. Said to keep in a tray of water to keep it moist so that's what I'm going to do. Hoping this stays healthy and grows well. Looking forward to it growing into a happy and healthy adult plant.Update:Even though I followed directions that came with it, it didn't survive. It was a dying fight to keep it alive. Last photo is the result of my hard work. I'm very disappointed with this. I'm saying don't waste your money on it. Knew someone else who is an expert with this type of plant who also bought one. Hers died as well.

The plant is in good shape, and is was a Sarracenia in a 3" pot. Could have shipped in a 1" pot and still had root room to spare. 6-7 pitchers are ~1/8 across wide and 1.5-2" tall. It does appear to be leucophylla x psittacina aka 'Scarlet Belle'. It's quickly putting on large and brightly colored pitchers.
