I am a huge fan of Scarlet Darkness clothing and have quite the collection of their pieces. This top is very pretty, but the material is so thin I fear it won’t last long. The side zipper works well and doesn’t stick out or poke. The boning is flexible enough to not be uncomfortable. The straps are adjustable, which I appreciate. I just feel like this top would look and feel better if the fabric was sturdier, it gives way too easily to hold a nice shape, and creates lumps. I have a 36C bust and in the pictures it doesn’t look like I do. Unintended minimizer effect? lol

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.This has become one of my wife's favorite corset blouses since it arrived. The construction, materials, pattern, and colors are all lovely. It does run a little large, but everything about this is otherwise fantastic. It feels nice to the touch. All of the seams and stays are sewn over to ensure they last. It's made well enough that my wife wondered why they didn't put steel bones in it. This is an aesthetic piece that comes highly recommended. It's not a serious corset, but it is a great fashion piece.

I mostly like this top. It's cute. I wish the fabric was less thin. It fits pretty well, aside from the shoulder straps. They are NOT adjustable and for me, they are just way too wide and fall down. I will need to tailor them myself in order to wear this out. The fabric is not my favourite texture but I'm tolerating it. The pattern, colours, and overall design of this top are great and very cute. I think just consider the shoulder straps before you buy it.

This is a lovely corset inspired piece, but it's not a genuine corset. It will give you a figure and smooth things out, but only if you are a size 10 or smaller. The material is thin, and it has no internal structure aside from a few pieces of boning, so if you are on the larger side, don't expect it to give you that held in, smoothing effect without bulges. The rouching on the back ensures a better fit. The zipper on the side is well hidden. The straps are adjustable, but they do slip over time. The fabric looks exactly like the picture in the listing. The front is longer than the back, which I'm not fond of but other people may not mind. But I wear it as an accent piece and not a corset, and for that, it's pretty and does its job, so I'm giving it 4 stars.

This is a rare miss from Scarlet Darkness. The fabric is very soft, and the boning at the center front, which run almost (but not quite) from top edge to the bottom edge, kind of pokes outward rather than curving with the bust. Maybe on a bustier lady this might still work, but it definitely doesn't work with my humble bosom. I think starting the boning lower down, just under the bust, might have worked better.

I got this in pink in size 10. It's well made, with a soft fabric, solid seams, and no loose threads. It looks just like the photo and fits true to the included size chart. It's a cute top that can be worn with a variety of different outfits. It can be worn with jeans and loafers and dressed down or a skirt and sandals and dressed up. Either way, it's a very cute top that is super comfortable and flattering. I'm so glad I added it to my wardrobe!

This corset style top is seriously cute! I love that the straps are on the thicker side and most importantly, the length is adjustable! There's a zipper on the side to make putting this on easier, which I didn't notice until after I had put it on. This shirt is lightly structured with plastic boning to hold its shape, but this doesn't function like an actual corset. I also didn't find it had enough support for me (34D) to wear without a bra, although your mileage may vary based on personal comfort. The prints are fun and perfect for spring and summer!
