In the beginning, I was sure the overtime it would be easy to open by hand A year and a half after one it's already in the dumpster and the rest I need power tools to open and close take it in your consideration when you purchase any one of them

Ordered this 4" PVC Valve but the female collar is too large and will not be able to glue to 4" PVC.

Great valve to install in a plumbing line, when u have a reason to be able to shut off the flow in order to unclog one side of the line
